Towable passengers stair

This TLD ABT480 towable passengers stair provides access under the best possible conditions of safety and comfort for passengers of narrow, medium and wide body aircraft with a doorsill height between 2,30 and 5,15 m. The stair is a telescopic stairway type and its height may be adjusted step-by-step allowing the passengers to embark or disembark in total comfort.The stair is equipped with two fixed wheels at the rear and two directional wheels at the front fitted on a roller ring controllable with a tow-bar. The tow-bar is lockable in vertical position. The tires are made of solid tyre.The stability of the stair is ensured with two stabilizators with ball end plates. The manoeuvring is carried out from the base with a manual hydraulic pump and distributor valve.The ABT feature a notch-bar on each side for mechanical latching. The steps of flights are automatically aligned. Heights are equal on complete stair.All surfaces, which are in contact with the aircraft, are protected with EPDM rubber strips. Steps and platforms are made of anodised non-slip aluminium extruded profile. Side panels include lighting units. The guardrailsslide on a large platform and allow opening the doors of the long haul. All operations are carried out under the best conditions of safety and comfort.
